TESTIMONIAL 3

To whom it may concern;

 

Sherwood Rise was one of those old practices, never accepted change, and stuck in a hole, drowning under today’s pressures, really a not very nice practice to be honest!!

 

In December 2017 the surgery was rated as inadequate and we were placed into special measures for serious concerns raised by the CQC.

 

We decided to employ new staff streamline our systems and how we approach and manage our governance and by chance one day I was referred to Vinny.

 

Normally I would have said no, not interested but Vinny was so professional and came across very passionate about what he does straight away.

 

We agreed to meet up, where he presented to the practice his thoughts, everyone was so impressed from the get go and within a week he had prepared an action plan, from then on I think I was on the phone to him getting advice most days.

 

Vinny then prepared risk logs, leaflets, flyers, posters, policies, statements you name it Vinny supplied it all with our new impressive practice logo.

 

The practice received yet another announced visit from CQC on 2nd May this year, where they have now managed to give us a new rating of GOOD in the 3 areas of the KLOEs with a couple requires improvements, we hoped for a good rating across all five KLOEs but considering where we were we are so proud of ourselves and thank you Vinny for all your hard work and support.

 

I would have no hesitation in recommending Vinny to any GP practice, wishing for guidance and support before a visit and after a visit, he was always at hand either by e-mail, text or phone and the thing I liked the most, Vinny knew a lot and is very passionate about his work, but even if he didn’t have the answer there and then he would admit he didn’t but then say I probably know someone who could help me out with that and yes he delivered, each time he came back with a solution!

 

I would like to take the opportunity to personally say thank-you Vinny, you were a great help and I believe now we have everything implemented I’m sure the next visit in a years’ time, that we will finally get that Good rating the practice now deserves.
